Created by artist Patrick Valenza, Deviant Moon Tarot offers a surreal interpretation of traditional tarot imagery inspired by childhood dreams. Moon-faced characters, created from manipulated photographs of 18th-century tombstones, appear against eerie backgrounds featuring smokestacks, abandoned buildings, and asylum-inspired architecture.

The accompanying booklet includes upright and reversed card interpretations along with the unique ten-card “Lunatic Spread,” arranged in the shape of a full moon. Symmetrical card backs featuring moon phases allow the deck to be easily used for reversed readings.
